Teenagers in thongs is not something that most parents really want to even think about regarding their own teenagers. Thongs are very revealing articles of lingerie, or swim suit style. Therefore, when it comes down to whether they are a good idea for teenagers or not would seem to depend totally on how and where the thongs are to be worn.
First, let’s look at what a thong actually IS. Most people are familiar with g-strings. While a g-string is one tiny strip of material going down, the thong is wider and has a bit more of a triangular shape. And yes, they are quite revealing.
While a lot of parents don’t realize it, there are many teenagers in thongs running around today. Of course the only way you would probably know is if the teenager told you. It is a very popular underwear style and is worn by a large number of teenage girls. If your teenage daughter simply wants to wear thong underwear, this is really not such a big deal. As underwear is worn UNDER the clothes, no one else is going to realize that she is actually wearing a thong, except for her girl friends. So, you can see it is no different than wearing any other style of underwear.
However, there are also swimsuit styles which feature the bottom half as a thong. This is a good time to sit your teenager down and have a chat about the limits of decency, as she may not realize just how much of her body she will be showing on a beach to strangers. A thong style swimsuit belongs in the pages of men’s magazines and not on your teenage daughter. Poolside is not really when you want to see teenagers in thongs.
Some teenage girls will be quite rebellious when parents put their foot down on clothing styles. If your daughter is one of these, you may be in for a difficult time. But, as a parent, you have the responsibility of trying to teach your teenager the differences between attractive and trashy. She needs to understand that people, particularly males, who see her sashaying about in her thong swimsuit are going to think all sorts of inappropriate thoughts about her. Teenagers in thongs are very much on display in a public setting.
Compromising with your teenager might be a workable solution. You could agree to let her wear thong underwear, but she will have to give up the idea of a thong swimsuit until she is old enough to decide for herself how she wants to be viewed by others. Hopefully, by the time she is of legal age to do so, she will realize that it is not only teenagers in thongs that is a bad idea.

With so much teen angst in the world today, there is little wonder so much depression in teenagers chat rooms can be found. This is a time of life that can be very hard for many teenagers. When life becomes too much for them to handle, they need someone to talk to about it all.
Most teens have best friends or close family members they feel comfortable going to for advice or just to have someone to listen to them. However, there are also many kids in this age group who feel they have no one to turn to. That’s when they sit down at their computer and search out someone to tell all their troubles to.
Finding someone to relate to online usually involves visiting various chat rooms that are set up for teenagers to gather. It may take visiting several of these chat rooms before finding just the right one with that person, or persons, who can understand and, perhaps, offer some advice. It may also depend on what sort of situation or problem the teenager is experiencing.
Too much pressure being put on teens today can be the cause of much of the depression in teenagers chat rooms. When someone in this age group is trying very hard to keep grades up, or just fit in with others, there can be too many demands to meet. Parents can unwittingly make their teenagers nervous wrecks over their grades, their choice of friends, or the way they dress. The list goes on and on. This pressure often manifests itself as depression in your teenagers.
Everyone knows that teen love can be the most painful there is in existence. This is another issue that sends the kids running to their computers. A high percentage of depression in teenagers chat rooms comes from failed love relationships. The intensity of first love, heightened by very active hormones, can go so far as to provoke feelings of suicide. For help, these kids turn to their online friends.
Teenagers chat rooms are not always a waste of time or a bad thing. It is through many of the conversations that occur in these chat rooms that teens are able to pull some semblance of their lives back together. Whether it is true depression, simply looking for advice, or finding a friend to talk to, there are some good things that can come from chatting in these rooms.

When it comes to Lasik surgery, it is becoming quite popular with the passing day. There are so many people opting for Lasik surgery and thanks to the technology that is making it not just safe but also quick. Teenagers are in such a stage of life that they wish to look really good and stand out amongst the crowds. Hence, the eye glasses and contact lenses bring in some form of inferiority as all the teenage kids wish to showcase a natural appearance. Therefore, in such a case, the Lasik surgery seems like the perfect option. The other advantage is that you don’t have to spend much as these surgeries are very well priced, decent and affordable.
The only thing that needs to be kept in mind is that the patient needs to be 18 or above years of age to undergo such surgery. If you are in your early teens, then you need to wait for about 2 to three years to actually be prepared for a Lasik Surgery. These rules come from FDA; hence it needs to be followed.
